This model uses Seiko’s 9256A Twin Quartz movement, an 8-jewel high-accuracy quartz movement from Seiko’s premium Grand Quartz line. Several replacement batteries were tried without successfully getting the watch running. The batteries available for testing measured below their nominal voltage, so battery condition may have contributed to the unsuccessful testing. Because of that, I cannot determine whether the watch itself has a fault or simply has not yet been tested with a sufficiently fresh battery. No further diagnosis has been performed. The watch includes its integrated Seiko bracelet. It has an attractive textured dial with day/date display. The case, crystal and bracelet show scratches and other age-related wear consistent with a vintage watch. The dial presents well overall.
