Antique Victorian Shell Pocket Watch Display Holder AS IS for Parts or Repair. This is awesome but in need of repair. Made of gilt metal, probably brass with gorgeous shell house. The mechanism that would hold the shell closed at the top is missing balls or something. It has a hook to hang the watch from and a round dish to hold the watch. It is exactly 46.85 inside opening. The fancy stand would have held 2 small photos or cameos. They each have a seated bezel. They are misshaped now. The piece is screwed to the base which doesn’t look original to me. It sits on a old piece of wood which could be original. The stamped ribbon detail would have been attached to the base. Each one has a hole on it but neither are attached down, see close up photos.
