Rare 1970’s SQUALE 2001 SAPHIR ETA 2783 AUTOMATIC 1000M DIVER FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. Bakelite bezel is affected at 9 position. Inner bezel paint is exfoliating too. Hands need some attention or replacement. Case shows marks of wear. Screw in stainless steel crown and case back are in good condition. 2001 – 101 ATMOS A Rare Stainless Steel Automatic Gents Divers Wristwatch. Manufactured in 1970’s. 25 Jewels, automatic, flat mineral. Dial with date aperture at 3, applied luminous indexes. Luminous hands set, three body case, pressed in bakelite bezel, smooth steel top and screw in stainless steel case back with beautiful logo and screw in stainless steel crown. Case and dial signed Squale. NOTE: The overall condition is fair with visible. Signs of wear to the case, dial, hands and bezel. Crystal is original to the watch and shows light surface marks from general wear. Blue dial is in good condition with beautiful patina and clear printing. Although are clean, they may need attention or replacement. The case shows various signs of wear or surface marks from general use. Bakelite bezel shows marks of wear and under paint is affected. The screw in stainless steel crown is in excellent condition and operates correctly. The movement is clean and works fine, however watch is stopping and would need attention. Movement expansion ring is most likely a later replacement. For parts and repairs only! All the imperfections are shown in photos.
