When it was mailed out, it did not run. It runs now and then stops. So, Probably needs a little cleaning. This is what the gentlemen stated about the watch. The top chronograph button spring is broken that needs replacing but chrongraph does work. The setting of the hands have to do with the plate under the dial, not a hard fix but will be done whom ever services it. The watch does run now with a little shake so the balance and hairspring are in good shape so that’s no issue just motion is sluggish Here is a VINTAGE 1940s or 50s BREITLING CHRONOGRAPH Men’s Wristwatch. I have NO IDEA WHAT THE problem with the watch is. Cosmetically, the watch appears to be very nice. So, maybe, it is just something minor. I have no idea. I cannot get the back off, so you can see the inside of the watch. I tried everything I know how, and NO LUCK!!!! Did not want to do damage to the watch. I will leave the rest to the new owner.
