This is a later example (no 70M or Resist text on the dial, Resist horseshoe caseback). With the caseback off, the winding weight is quite corroded and theres a touch of rust to the visible portions of the movement, which I did not remove from the case (theres mild rust to the movement ring, too, and I dont want to dislodge bits of it and then have the watch start running in transit). The pushers give a satisfying and appropriate-feeling clunk but the minute counter, at least, does not reset. I tested the watch with a borrowed stem, and the day and date do turn over (but the stem was also incorrectdont even askand not long enough to test the quickset). This watch has been victim to a fair amount of meddling. The hands do not appear original to me (although they certainly dont look new, and were likely lifted from another watch of similar age), with the exception of the sweepwhich does look original but is floating loose in the case. Also loose in the case is the SEIKO nameplate that ought to sit near the top of the dial. The crown and stem are missing, too. Cosmetically, the watch is in decent shape. There are some significant scratches to the 5 oclock corner of the case, but the tachymeter bezel is in really nice condition. You can see in the photos that theres some gunk around the 100 mark; this actually scraped off with a fingernail after I took the pictures. There are tool marks on the caseback. Ive described the watch to the best of my ability and tried to disclose any issues, and I will happily answer any questions and send further photos on request. Please assume that it will need at least a full servicing to run perfectly. The item “Seiko 6139-6002 Pogue, Kanji day wheel, for parts/repair (March 1975)” is in sale since Saturday, April 18, 2020.
