ANOTHER SUPERB AND EXTREMELY RARE VINTAGE CHRONOGRAPH WATCH FIND FROM ANTIQUETIMEONLINE! UP FOR GRABS TODAY IS THIS NICE LATE 1940’S/EARLY 1950’S CHRONOGRAPH SUISSE CHRONOGRAPH WRIST WATCH HEAD WATCH VENUS CALIBRE 170 WATCH HEAD WITH A SOLID 18K GOLD CASE AND BEZEL. FOR SPARES OR REPAIRS!!! The case to this watch is in good condition with a few dings to the case side. The case is solid 18k rose gold. PLEASE NOTE: IT IS MISSING ITS 18K GOLD CASEBACK. The parts which are 18k solid gold are the main part of the case and the bezel. The rest of the case is metal (ORIGINAL DUST COVER) This case measures approx 3.5 cms (35mm) in diameter. This watch movement has its original untouched fully signed rose gold colored dial. It it has the wording’CHRONOGRAPH SUISSE’ on it. All of the ORIGINAL blued steel hands are present. The dial is in lovely original condition with just general marks and spotting. The crystal shows some wear consistent with age but is still ok. This is a nice VENUS 170 chronograph 17 jewel movement. It seems to be incomplete and may be missing a couple of parts. The balance seems to swing. It has its stem but the watch just winds as though the main spring is broken. It sets as it should. It has the original pushers and crown with it. There is NO exception. I have described all of my items to the best of my knowledge.
