RARE 1970’s RODANIA – DEPTH GAUGE TROPICAL BROWN DIAL + DPW NORTH EAGLES MILITARY DIVER – FOR PARTS OR REPAIRS. Up for sale here is a very nice Rodania depth gauge stainless steel diver. Tropical matte brown dial with nice and even brown lume indexes and plots; – White skeleton sword hands (with green lume); – Original uni directional steel bezel, with smooth turn and wear marks; – Thick mineral crystal with lots of marks and scratches; – Black coated crown no longer screws down but still works to set the time; – Lovely MRP S. Steel case with curved lugs and crisp facets, never refurbished; – Smooth screw down back; Powered by an ETA ESA 944.111 movement, not working. Case, back and bezel show age related marks or scratches but remain in as found condition, not refurbished. Diameter: 39.5 mm across, not including the crown. PLEASE NOTE: I have been advised by a fellow collector that the watch has had its movement replaced sometimes in the past. I do have another DPW North Eagle Military similar cased diver with a quartz movement, also for repairs, that was powered by an ETA 955.414. I will include the DPW diver in the sale too. This may have been the case for Rodania too, unless an earlier ETA/ESA. All the imperfections are shown in photos.
