1973 Tissot Tissonic Electronic 2010 Calibre ESA9162 Tuning Fork Watch Needs Repair. This example of a genuine vintage Tissonic tuning fork timepiece is not working and is in need of repair and parts. It has the iconic ESA 9162 calibre electronic movement used in a number of high brand watches of this F300Hz type. The movement is a Tissot caliber 2010 with serial number 16700332 from 1973 manufacture. Please study the images for condition of the watch and casing. The original and un-restored Tissot dial is finished in a 2-tone brown with subtle vertical brush effect. Original matching white hands along with gold sweep seconds hand. White wording Tissot Swiss, Tissonic Electronic with red F300 below. Note that the watch case is missing the gold bezel (outer crystal retaining ring). The gold plated casing has a push-on back cover in stainless steel, is of type 40613-5X, and is 36mm across not including the crown/lugs. Fitted to a used strap with gold plated buckle. No box or original paperwork. The watch is not working or humming when fitted with a battery so will require repair and replacement parts. Alternatively it can be used for spares. The date dial rotates fully in both directions using the crown, and the seconds hand holds its position as it should when adjusting the time. To avoid all doubt about the condition of the non-working movement. The movement is being provided free of charge as part of this item lot.
