Royal E Robbins LiverPool 24413, Movement for parts or repair. Pre-owned very old and and historical Royal Robbins pocket watch movement, diameter 44.5mm. For parts o repair. The caliber or movement was working but a small chain that is turned with the key and moves the drum that stores the coil of the string broke. The balance wheel, spring and pivot are in good condition. This movement is somewhat special and rare since the balance wheel pivot bearing is made of a small crystalline diamond, which can be seen in a couple of photographs. The dial has some cracks and fractures. Please check the details and condition of the movement carefully before purchasing. This is a project watch for parts or repair. This watch was made in November 1983. Watch comes with the original bracelet. It measures at 8 3/8 laid out flat with the watch. This means that your wrist must be less than this measurement by an appropriate amount in order to obtain the proper fit. Dimensions: 3-9 38.5mm, 4-10 42mm, thickness 11mm, all approximate. This is a used watch for parts or repair. The crystal has no obvious marks or scratches. Upper left pusher appears seized, the others are not, but need work. When I first put in a battery there were various signs of life, such as the second hand twitching and the chrono working. However it just stopped and now nothing. The crown sets the time, day and date as expected. Not tested for water resistance. Included in this listing is the watch itself. Vintage Eterna Royal Quartz KonTiki from end of 70’s. The reference number is 729 1505 41 with ESA ETA 940.111 quartz movement. The case back is engraved with “ETERNA 1856 – 1981 125 Jahre”, a rare anniversary version watch. The movement is running but sometimes is stop, stay for a while and then run again for hours or days but stop can occur again suddenly. The day is not always showed correct in its window and the hands are moving a little bit hard when the time is set by the crown. The case is stainless steel with 36 mm x 44 mm, crown not included. The glass is sapphire anti glare coated. The bracelet will need for at least two extra links in order to fit a normal hand. Actual will not fit a hand largest than 15 mm, the bracelet is too short. We ordered a new battery but unfortunately the watch still does work. 1250 movement as indicated and marked on inside. Band was in terrible shape so that has been removed.
