For Sale: A genuine vintage Minerva manual-wind watch movement and original dial, dating approximately to the late 1940s or early 1950s. This is a high-grade “in-house” Swiss movement from a legendary manufacture, now highly sought after by collectors of the Minerva/Montblanc heritage. Movement Size: 11.5 Ligne Dial measures approx. Import Code: “DXO” stamped on the bridge Minerva U. Features: Anti-magnetic, Incabloc shock protection, 17 Jewels. Dial: Original silver/champagne dial with “Syringe” style hands. Shows significant age-related patina/oxidation, particularly around the 9 o’clock edge. Condition Report (Strictly for Parts or Repair). Movement: The movement is incomplete. It is missing the crown and the winding stem. Mechanical Status: When power is applied directly to the ratchet wheel, the balance wheel oscillates and the movement ticks for several seconds before stopping. This suggests the balance staff is intact, but the movement likely needs a full cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment (Service). Cosmetics: The movement plates are visually clean. This came from a local watchmakers personal desk helping him sell these items because he is no longer able to work on them because of his age.
