Heavy (153g) Chester Silver Pocket Watch Fusee Movement for Repair (L2). Please see photographs for condition and size. Gross weight of 153g and large in size. The movement will need a lot of work or replacing, but serial number of it matches the case serial so it is original. The chain is loose (one hook visible), wheels are loose as shown and dial is also loose. Case is in very good condition, unrestored, appears to be hallmarked for Chester 1902 which is unusually late for a fusee movement. The tag on the watch cleaning machine says. “Made by L & R Manufacturing Company, USA, Arlington, New Jersey”. 115 volts, 500 watts, Serial No. 42604 Model – Heavy Duty. The jars are relatively large, like cookie jars – 5 3/4″ diameter x 6 1/2″ tall (not measuring the lid knob) No chips were noted. All 3 jars have lids and a metal insert. Jars have a little bit of residue or etching on the inside. Plugged in but only makes a buzzing noise. The wires are old and will need replaced. Paint and finish is wearing off.
