FOR PARTS/REPAIR – The. Movement does not run and the crown/stem separates (pulls out). And while the date and time can be set by simply turning the crown (which is incorrect) the day wheel does not roll over. A complete restoration is required. This seldom seen vintage 1970’s Milus Week-Day has a lovely “SWISS MADE” signed dial that has aged nicely. The smooth outer part of the dial is silver and the inner concentric part is more of a champagne color. The beautifully cut all stainless steel case shows honest wear with minor signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “STAINLESS STEEL WATERPROOF INCABLOC ANTIMAGNETIC UNBREAKABLE MAINSPRING” with “MILUS” followed by “Week-Day, “”SWISS MADE, “”21 JEWELS” and 40.63. Stamped in the center. The crystal needs to be replaced. The 21 jewels Swiss “MILUS” stamped Felsa 4018 manual wind movement does not run and the original signed crown/stem separates (pulls out). While the date and time can be set by simply turning the crown (which is incorrect) the day wheel does not roll over. This watch measures approximately 34 mm excluding the crown, approximately 36 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the fixed bezel, is approximately 6.5 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 8 mm. Given that the movement does not run and the crown/stem separates a complete restoration is required. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. For this watch that time is now. Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. And please study the 12 high magnification pictures carefully, which were taken in natural light and from various angles, as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch.
