PROJECT WATCH – CARTIER MANUAL WIND ETA 2512 (78) – WHITE ENAMEL DIAL – CUSTOM TANK SILVER CASE – PARTS OR REPAIRS. For sale is a nice project watch in exactly as found conditions. Most likely, the case is custom made as, aside the 925 cartouche, there are no other marks or labels. Dial is has a lovely white enamel gloss finish, orned with floral motifs and Paris at 6. Dial has no feet but otherwise in good condition. Small aging marks or spots here and there. Original gilt sword hands are present to the movement. 78 movement – ETA 2512, nicely preserved, however service history is unknown. Nice silver custom made tank case secured with 4 screws from the sides. Well proportioned also at 24x32mm. Case seems unpolished also. Blue cabochon crown in white metal setting, operating correctly. All the imperfections are shown in photos. Any other defects not mentioned in description but visible in the pictures will be considered as described. Vintage Rolex Tudor Submariner Navy custom made case for parts or repair. Navy Prototype Tudor, Oyster Prince, Submariner, Rotor, Self-winding, Prototype made in few examples in 1982, for the US Navy, production was never undertaken. Exceptionally rare and very fine, asymmetrical, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel military wristwatch. Custom made case Three-body, massive, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, 12-hour graduated revolving steel bezel, protected by the hooded lugs, “Triplock” winding-crown at 4 oclock protected by a “Crown Guard”, domed crystal, elongated lugs with detachable hoods, screw-down back. Black with tritium-coated and Arabic indexes, aperture for the date. Tritium-coated steel “Skeleton” hands. The previous owner told me that the dial was redone. There is a small scratch near the center of the dial. Eta, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating. 58 x 44 mm approx. The movement runs but after few minutes stops. Therefore requires a revision. I think the stem is not the correct one.
