This stylish men’s wristwatch from Certina features a brown dial with arrow markers and a two-piece leather strap with a buckle closure. The watch has a quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 30 meters. It also comes with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a solid caseback. The original deployant clasp is on a non-original leather strap. But I think it’s a good combo. Other notable features include a date indicator, a fixed bezel, and a polished stainless steel case finish. The watch has a case diameter of 38.3mm and a case thickness of 10mm. It’s in its original box, with tag, and manual. REPAIR: as shown in one of the pictures, the crown has fallen off due to a broken stem. The piece of the stem stuck inside the crown itself is glued in, so this is most likely going to need a new stem and a new crown altogether. It also needs a new battery.

Original vintage Certina 288, not working, for parts or repair. I don’t know when it was made, but I would say in 60. Vintage Certina is a site where you can find lots of info about Certinas. Movement: Certina 25-682 automatic wind movement, built in house by Certina, not by a third party. The crown has the Certina logo. Takes 19mm wide bracelets. 1 – stiff winding – you can wind it by hand bit it is stiff. 2 – smooth time setting. Whatch runs but stops after a few minutes. 4 – if you turn the hands the day of the week. But the day of the month is fixed. 6 – May have other problems. Remember that seeing the item at very high magnification, as in the pictures that I provide, brings to life small defects that the human eye does not perceive. That is why many people will like even more the item after seeing it for real. Please refer to the pictures for a complete perception of the item’s condition. This will be more precise and effective than my eyesight or judgment. All pictures are of the actual item. Photos are not retouched or edited to mask defects. Please take time to enlarge the all the photos for the clearest, largest images.
