VINTAGE Valjoux 84 Movement With Bovet Dial FOR PARTS OR REPAIR

This has a Bovet Dial. Balance Wheel Moves Freely. Movement is missing the Hour Wheel, Hands and 1 Button. Rust on Stem, Clutch, Winding Pinion and Detent. No Case or Crystal available. Dial has staining and color loss. Movement Size is 14 ligne. Marks: Movement: SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS, UNADJUSTED, BOVET, FRERS & COSA, SWISS, SXK, FS, AR. Dial: MONO-RATTRAPANTE, BOVET, SWISS MADE. Also marked on Dial: “BASE” at the beginning of the outside track on the dial plus “1000, 750, 600, 400, 350, 300, 275, 240, 220, 200, 190, 180, 170, 160, 150, 140, 130, 120, 110, 100, 90, 85, 80, 75, 70, 65 & 60″ ending at the 12 o’clock position. In addition there is a circular Second Hand recess and a circular secondary Chronograph recess. Posts for the hands are intact. I estimate the age of this movement to be the 1940’s.
