After installing the battery, the watch started working but the hand-changing mechanism and buttons do not work. The gilding is worn in places. The watch needs repair or is a great option for spare parts.

This is a rare, vintage (1970’s) Omega MegaQuartz 32khz. This piece DOES NOT RUN, possibly due to an inop coil but cannot say. This watch features a 39mm stainless steel, electroplated gold case. A stainless steel screwback cover with the iconic Omega insignia. The dial is a lighter gold with a day and date window and the red Omega sign at the 12:00 position. This incredible time piece functioned well up to a few years ago. It does not seem to be missing any parts (other than a battery). This is a beautiful piece to repair or use for parts. Rare 1970’s SQUALE 2001 SAPHIR ETA 2783 AUTOMATIC 1000M DIVER FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. Bakelite bezel is affected at 9 position. Inner bezel paint is exfoliating too. Hands need some attention or replacement. Case shows marks of wear. Screw in stainless steel crown and case back are in good condition. 2001 – 101 ATMOS A Rare Stainless Steel Automatic Gents Divers Wristwatch. Manufactured in 1970’s. 25 Jewels, automatic, flat mineral. Dial with date aperture at 3, applied luminous indexes. Luminous hands set, three body case, pressed in bakelite bezel, smooth steel top and screw in stainless steel case back with beautiful logo and screw in stainless steel crown. Case and dial signed Squale. NOTE: The overall condition is fair with visible. Signs of wear to the case, dial, hands and bezel. Crystal is original to the watch and shows light surface marks from general wear. Blue dial is in good condition with beautiful patina and clear printing. Although are clean, they may need attention or replacement. The case shows various signs of wear or surface marks from general use. Bakelite bezel shows marks of wear and under paint is affected. The screw in stainless steel crown is in excellent condition and operates correctly. The movement is clean and works fine, however watch is stopping and would need attention. Movement expansion ring is most likely a later replacement. For parts and repairs only! All the imperfections are shown in photos.
