At the moment, itll consistently run or about three seconds when you give it a hearty shake; sometimes, though, you can get about 10 seconds out of it. The minute counter does turn over and all chrono hands reset to zero, albeit a bit listlessly. The day and date quickset properly and turn over at midnight, but the day wheel is a little sticky and tends to hang partway. The start-stop pusher is fairly crisp; the reset pusher definitely has some excessive resistance and feels gummy. The watch appears all-original and has all its hands. The dial is in fair shape; there is a decent scratch just east of the Speed-Timer text and the subregisters are fairly stained. The crystal will need to be replaced as its chipped and pitted; its also not staying in the case although I couldnt say exactly why. This seems to happen to bullheads with surprising frequency, for whatever reason. The case is in fair condition as well. There are minimal tool marks on the caseback and quite a few little dings; more importantly, the case looks to me as if it might have been polished. The machining on bullheads can be subtle, but this one looks more subtle than usual to my eye, and some of the dents look oddly rounded-out. I truly go back and forth on this, but prefer to err on the side of full disclosure. Take a look at the photos and judge for yourself. Under the hood, theres quite a bit of gunk and considerable wear. The winding weight is rather pitted and there appears to be a minuscule amount of rust, mostly on some of the screws. I have not had the movement out of the case to inspect it further. Ive described the watch to the best of my ability and tried to disclose any issues, and I will happily answer any questions and send further photos on request. This particular example has seen better days, but still has some solid bones. The winding weight and mainspring swing freely, and the watch runs when you give it a shake. The stem is unfortunately broken and I cant test the setting of the time, day, or date. Theres no caseback gasket and theres quite a bit of gunk and pitting, mostly confined outside the threads, but no obvious signs of water entry though I havent removed the movement from the case. The movement itself shows wear but looks pretty clean overall, although again I havent had it out of the case to investigate any further. The pushers stick badlyfeels like its the gaskets but I havent looked into it. Cosmetically, the case has plenty of dings and scratches; Im not super familiar with this model but it appears to have been slightly polished in the past. All the parts are original. The bezel is in fair shape and the color is good. There are slight tool marks on the caseback. It will definitely need a service, but on the bright side, the movement actually does run when shaken and the chronograph resets (just past zero). The time does set perfectly. The pushers are sticking; I havent investigated whether this is due to gunked-up old gaskets or some more significant problem, though it feels to me like its the gaskets. New gaskets will obviously be needed either way; the caseback one has actually gone missing entirely. The movement itself looks very clean, although I havent had it out of the case to investigate any further. There is some obvious wear and a couple of visible tool gouges. Cosmetically, the case has the expected dings and scratches and clearly appears unpolished. All the parts are original. The bezel is fairly scratched and has a pretty solid ding by the 4 oclock marker, but the color is good. There are some tool marks on the caseback, but theyre fairly superficial.
