A rare find from a watch repairman’s estate! A Swiss made Vacheron & Constantin pocket watch movement, ticks but. The movement measures 31.42mm diameter; (measuring just below the upper lip). The movement is stamped. The winding tool would NOT insert into the stem hole; it appear the stem is. BROKEN off inside, so I could NOT wind the watch. The watch will begin to run for a couple seconds when rotated. And will run when a light pressure is put to the center wheel. The overall thickness (as measured at the center) is 7.10mm. The maximum outer diameter (measured at the dial) is 32.27mm. There is some LOSS to the plating and corrosion. To the regulator disc and light corrosion to the ratchet wheel disc. One of the teeth on the ratchet wheel is BROKEN. Please see the last picture. The movement has a’gold train (gears)’, a mustache pallet and wolf tooth ratchet wheels; the winding hole is located. At the 3 o’clock position. The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals and is marked, “VACHERON ET CONSTANTIN, GENEVE”. Hairline cracks or chips to the dial; there are some very light scratches.
